There has been a number of rumors around the paddock about Helicopter Services 2019 line up. It was finally confirmed this weekend, Ben Cook will leave Helicopter Services and be replaced by Sammy Venables.
Sammy will join Stuart Allen & John Igoe for the RHPK 2019 Season where they will be in the run for the 2019 Championship after just missing out last year to Spectre Racing.
Sammy raced for Polish Lambo V2 last year after leaving Artifex Racing at the beginning of the 2018 season.
“I am extremely happy to be racing for Helicopter this year and feel privileged for the chance. I personally spent a lot of time last year doing everything I can to improve and in the end, it paid off!
Huge thanks to the Lambo boys for all their help last year. They brought me down to earth and gave me the tools to do well. Really looking forward to the year ahead, it won’t be easy but looking forward to the challenge! – Sammy
When catching up with Team Manager, John Igoe, he commented…
We would like to say a big thanks to Ben for his dedication to Helicopter Services over the years and wish him luck wherever he goes. I hope that Ben’s mum will still be making me tea each round 🙂 Looking forward to Sammy Joining the team for the 2019 RHPK Season – John
