Andy from Avatar racing was involved in a incident on the first corner of Round 2. The race was promptly stopped whilst Andy was checked over and the Kart recovered.
Andy looked to take most of the impact as the kart was undamaged and amazingly was on the grid for the race restart.
I’ve spoken to Andy this morning who is still in pain around his ribs and back area but appears to be recovering. He will be visiting the doctors today for a checkup. Andy is hopeful that he will be back in the seat for May.
I’m sure you will join me in wishing Andy a speedy recovery.

Just to set the record straight, I was not in the accident, it was Andy from Avatar.
I believe he is recovering well.
