May 2016 made Ryehouse Prokarting history – sellout grid of 36 karts, packed venue from teams, families and friends, our sponsors pulling out all of the stops to put on a fantastic show and obviously the fantastic close racing. The comments, photos and social media reaction was overwhelming. To keep up the momentum within the RHPK series the team met up Wednesday night to discuss the all important June round.

The team RHPK are very excited to confirm the following for R4…

Facebook Live Feed directly on Karting Magazine’s Facebook group. They will be covering Qualifying, the Grid walk and the start/end of the race.
Chris McCarthy will be stepping up again to carry out his “Brundle-like” grid walk (back by popular demand!) which will be broadcast live via facebook. Not only will people able to watch it live around the world but will remain uploaded and watchable after the feed!

Burton Powered Drift Car will be drifting around the track before the karts are pushed on to the track for their grid positions. Once again a car (TBC) will lead the karts around for a couple of laps.

Live Commentary thanks to the success of Barry Lee’s fantastic commentary, Chris McCarthy will be stepping up and commentating on the race over the tannoy. Just like May, any teams swapping drivers to go up to race control where Chris will ask you a couple of questions for all to hear!

Polish Sausages It’s not a true RHPK round without Polish Sausages right? Chris McCarthy will be sponsoring the sausages this month cooked to perfection by Polish Lambo.

Race end Presentation not only do we hope to get this underway a little quicker but will be able to speak via a microphone over the PA system to really complete the day. Our 7 Kart sponsored monthly prize will also be announced here.
