On behalf of KA Racing I’d like to say ‘Thank You’ to everyone involved in helping out after my incident at Pylon Bend. Thank you to the unknown driver in the black race suit who came to help only to have to put up with my incessant swearing. He unfortunately then proceeded to fall onto the race track in his efforts to help lift the kart over the tyre wall and into a safe zone. Thank you to Rob for his lifting powers, advice and encouragement to get back out there. Thank you to Steve for his bending powers and the loan of the parts necessary to get us back on track. There were unknown others who chipped in with offers of spare parts as well. Thank you. All of this and the other multitude of incidents in our most eventful race in 5 years of Rye House racing brought us home at the finish, battered, scarred and slightly wiser but ensured we gained valuable championship points.
