    Good Idea Dan,

I’ll get something up tonight. However all of the series dates are on the right hand side of the front page, under :- RHPK 2016 FIXTURES

    RHPK Dates

    Are these what you mean?

    Elliot,

Your not alone at all, all of our team struggled to get the right line. The bump this month round seemed to be more aggressive compared to what it was like in the Winter Cup. Last year I used to monster the kerb, it was bumpy but felt right – Now I still can’t tell you what I’m doing!

Personally I think there needs to be a proper flat kerb there.

    Hi Ian,

The rules for the tank state they must not exceed 7.5 liters. Most off the shelf Pro-Kart central tanks should suit. Just ensure they are no larger than 7.5 liters.

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Hi Ian,

Welcome to the Series and the site! Be great to have you racing with us soon.

What chassis do you have? Torsion bars in RHKP can be removed/fitted as you like.

Small updates to the site 10/02/2016

    – RELATED Category news will now feature on the page on all posts, just above comments
    – All Articles can be accessed from “The Series” drop down link on the Navigation Bar
    – Unread posts on the forum are now Marked, previously there was no way of seeing what new posts were unread by the user when logged in, Thanks for mentioning this Rob.
    – Back end Server response times should be quicker (Previously we were seeing a small percentage of timeout requests)

    Hi Greg,

There are a number of ways to do this, however the easiest way is to find their name on a post (On the forum) or a comment (across the whole site) and click on their name. It will link to their profile page.

On the profile page, click Private Message. You can also add them to your friends, meaning that they remain on your profile which can be access anytime on the top right of the screen – where it says “Howdy…”

Here you can access your mailbox and profile page. Going forward I’m going to write up some articles on how to use some of the features on the site to get the most out of it.

    Anything else let me know,
    Mark

    Thanks Kev,

Sorry If I was not clear.

are we being walked down the pit lane by the Marshall (every single driver change for every team without exception) are we being asked to walk and will be monitored doing so by the Marshall (which I think will be impossible to police and labour intensive) or are we allowed to push the kart as quickly as we like as has always been the case and to my knowledge, has never caused any sort of accident.

No, you will be pushed by one of your team to the fuel bay and out of the fuel bay. You are only allowed one team member pushing as fast as you can (Like previously)

Can we have a clear line at the end of the pit lane before which we are not allowed to restart engines (cones will do).

Yes, this should/will be in place for the first race in March.

Looking forward to the series Kev! There maybe a surprise for the first race of the season – just waiting for confirmation 🙂

    Exciting stuff 🙂

    Hi Kev,

Good topic! Something which does need clarifying.

So last year was probably one of the closest seasons we’ve had in years, races being won by tenths rather than seconds/laps. During certain races there was increasing pressure for the track to clamp down on teams who we thought were abusing the quick push down the pits.

Given how tight it was in the Championship all the way down the field the track took action. Was this the right action? – in hindsight probably not, however they needed to take action. In reality the track could not walk everyone down the pits and therefore caused more inconsistencies.

This year, Kelvin Nicholls will be part of our Championship and will hopefully mature and enforce the rules we currently have in place.

So, 2016. *To be confirmed in drivers briefing..

    – Driver places his hand up just before going into the pits and to drive off the track on the left hand side.
    – Driver comes to a complete stop at the weighbridge cones and to proceed by the Weigh bridge Marshall.
    – Driver stops on the weighbridge until instructed to move on.
If you are underweight, the Marshall will push you back off the weighbridge, ensure the scales are reading 0.00 and the driver is free to drive back on.
    – Once instructed, drive off the weighbridge turn the corner (Allowing engine power) and to turn both engines off before/at the sign post. Another team member must push your kart into the fuel bay (to the right) where the driver has to fully vacate the seat. Unless the driver is fully out of the seat and ready to hold the nozzle – no fuel will be added.
    – Once fueled, the driver is then required to get back into the seat and screw the fuel cap tightly whilst the other team member is pushing the kart *Only one team member is allowed to push the kart from the weigh bridge to the driver change spot*
    – Driver change can take place and engines on.

Any weight issues need to be discussed with the Clerk of the course immediately.

    Hello Josh,

Welcome to the series! You will be allocated a Clubman number of 48. You will be required to display your number (White Numbers, Green Background) on the front, both sides and rear of the kart. Your pace will be monitored for the first couple of races to ensure you are in the right class, pace wise.

Look forward to seeing you guys in February! Anymore questions please let us know.

You can view the full list of team numbers here :- http://rhpk.co.uk/2016-team-numbers/

    Hi Danny,

Great to hear from you! Thanks for the comments on the website. I’ve just noticed that the site is missing the Rules and Regulations! I’ll be sure to get these up tonight – this will give you a real overview of what is required for the series.

    Do you run wets?
Yes, Obviously the option is up to the team. There have been occasions if the weather is very poor that the track enforce that all teams start on the wet tyre for safety reasons.

    Do you hire transponders?
Yes, When booking up make sure you make the track aware that you need one.

Do we need fully enclosed chain guards?
No, normal guards will be permitted – so long as they cover the length of the chain.

Do we need to get our number registered now (and what color)?
I can assign you a number, as you’ve not raced with RHPK before we will assign you in Clubman. White numbers with a Green background – this number needs to be on the front, back and both sides of the kart.

The numbers reflect where each team have finished in the previous season, Super are 1-30 Clubman 30-60.

HRS Racing will be allocated Clubman Number :- 47

Do we provide our own fuel?
Yes, A full Gerry can is required and to be handed in before the start of the race, typically before 12pm. Obviously morning practice to be covered by each team.

    Can we enter round 1?
    Yes, yes & yes! 🙂

Please let me know if you have any further questions, like I said – I’ll get the rules and regulations uploaded asap.

Look forward to seeing you guys!
